Has anyone here ever bought one of these plates and made their own fel attatchment for a specialty tool? I thought I heard I could purchase one for around $275. Does that sound high? Any info on where and what quality one should look for if buying one?

This is the third time I've tried to get this to post.
Quick attach plates are $125 at St Josephs equipment. They have about four locations in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
I built a grapple from one last winter. See pics # 1,2, and 5.

I bought my tractor from them. Maybe I am confusing the cost of some other impliment, because I know he told me how much it was. Now that you said that, I do think I remember that it was less than $200.
One of the reasons I ask is I am interested in making an impliment that would lift trusses. I saw one on someones pics but cant remember who's. Anyone here have a proven plan for something like this? I have a few good ideas but can always use some proven advice?
Thanks. ....

I see the plates on Ebay for $150, including shipping in the US. Anybody recommend a vendor for the loader side Quick Tach? I imagine they would have to be customized for any loader I wanted to put it on.....
I wonder why I do not see people using this attachment method for backhoes on CUTs. The loaders should be able to take the stress, and it sure seems easier to take on and off than sub-frame connections on the back.....
Any skid steer experts out there? ....
